The two piece suit will always be a classic wardrobe staple- there’s no denying that. However, why not swap your usual statement for corduroy. Whilst this may sound like a rather random fabric suggestion, they have been floating around the autumn/winter catwalk with some distinct prevalence. Not only will this heavier material keep you warn during this nippy February that we are having, but it was give you a fresh edge in the office. A good investment in this department can give you a suit that you’ll have a long and glorious friendship with.
Tom Ford, Corneliani and J Crew were just a few of the big names who sent a selection of these two pieces down the runway. All had a neutral colour palette, so if you’re craving a splash of colour- maybe save that for your shirt. Team your suit and shirt combination, with a dark coloured loafer and an over the shoulder, leather bag and you are good to go.
